Niall Kelly
Director of Procurement
Niall Kelly brings over 30 years of hospitality experience to his role as Head of Windward Purchasing, which he has led since joining the company in 2017. Under his leadership, Windward Purchasing has cemented its reputation as a premier hospitality procurement partner, focused on reducing and controlling costs for its hotel clients. Niall’s extensive expertise ensures that all hotel procurement partners benefit from a broad supplier network and achieve significant savings through strategic group purchasing agreements. Before joining Windward, Niall spent more than 20 years honing his negotiation skills, including over 12 years with Radisson Hotels, where he developed deep industry insights and a strong track record in procurement and supplier management

Colm Killackey
Purchasing Manager
Colm began his hospitality career in 2009 at Hotel Meyrick in Galway City as a Purchasing Assistant. Since then, he has built extensive experience in procurement across both hospitality and food distribution sectors, supported by a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Throughout his career, Colm has held Purchasing Manager roles in fast-paced hotel environments, where he developed expertise in cost-saving strategies while cultivating strong supplier partnerships within the hospitality industry. Additionally, he gained valuable leadership experience in the foodservice sector, managing a team of buyers, driving significant cost efficiencies, and overseeing a broad supplier network. For the past six years, Colm has been Purchasing Manager with Windward Purchasing, where he has deepened his understanding of hotel procurement by managing an extensive supplier base and nurturing key relationships with suppliers, hotels, and internal stakeholders.

John Callanan
Head of Business Development
John Callanan brings over two decades of experience in B2B sales, business development, and operational leadership within the hospitality and foodservice industries. Known for his strategic acumen and client-focused approach, John has built a strong reputation for driving commercial performance, fostering supplier partnerships, and implementing effective cost-control and budgeting strategies. Before joining Windward Purchasing, John held senior roles at Expert Cost Control (acquired by Avendra – Aramark), Musgrave Foodservices, and Combico Ltd. Across these roles, he consistently delivered revenue growth and led high-impact projects aligned with evolving client needs. John holds an MSc in Business and Hospitality from NUIG – Shannon College of Hotel Management and is a certified Project Manager. His leadership style blends analytical rigour with agility, relationship-building, and a passion for innovation. John’s early career includes time spent in the UK hospitality sector with Queens Moat House, Forte Hotels and Jurys, following hospitality training in Switzerland and Ireland. He is also an active member of his community, volunteering for over a decade with Killaloe Sailing Club Ltd in various leadership roles.

Seamus O Dwyer
Fiance Manager
Seamus joined Windward in 2018, bringing with him 20 years of diverse managerial and financial experience within the hospitality sector. Throughout his career, he has conducted numerous hotel evaluations and due diligence assessments on behalf of investors. In addition to serving as a board member of Dundrum House Hotel—where he successfully led a financial restructuring and facilitated the transition to new ownership—Seamus has also worked with KPMG, gaining valuable experience in examinerships and receiverships. Prior to his focus on hospitality, Seamus held roles in the manufacturing, construction, and wholesale industries. He is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant, underscoring his strong financial expertise.

Sinead King
Finance & Procurement Manager
Sinead King is a highly experienced procurement-focused accountant with over 20 years of specialised expertise in hospitality finance. Renowned for her precision, compliance acumen, and operational insight, Sinead combines financial discipline with deep industry knowledge to deliver impactful results. She holds a degree in Business and Finance and is a fully qualified Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA), underscoring her dedication to strategic, performance-driven financial leadership. Throughout her career, Sinead has held pivotal roles within the finance departments of leading hotel groups, including the Lynch Group of Hotels and the Radisson SAS Group. Her experience spans multi-brand portfolios and varied operational settings, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges involved in hotel procurement and cost management. Since joining Windward Procurement in 2022, Sinead has played a key role in supporting our nationwide hotel network. She expertly manages supplier relationships, optimises spending strategies, and oversees procurement operations with rigorous financial oversight, ensuring alignment between procurement activities, operational requirements, and financial objectives across the portfolio.

Robbie Murphy
e-Procurement Systems Manager
Robbie has nine years of experience in customer and technical support across both national and international companies. He began his career in customer service before moving into app-based technical support for a U.S. home security company, developing hands-on experience with technical systems and user troubleshooting. He later joined Wurth, where he led support for an iPad-based sales application, overseeing the testing, deployment, and quality control of the sales app. Over time, he co-led e-Procurement initiatives for operations in Ireland and the UK, collaborating with account managers and development teams to deliver digital procurement solutions for clients in the automotive, metal, and construction sectors. He leverages his background in technical troubleshooting and digital systems to support ongoing improvements in procurement operations and user experience.
